Nihongoresources の Resources

This is the dokuwiki for online casino reviews, primarily set up for some collaborative work on the “indigo” kanji decomposition data, but I'm fairly sure it can be expanded to cover more things pertaining to nihongoresources, like porting the grammar book to wiki, and listing some of the “research” for the site.

  • Underlying resource: term frequency lists based on modern use of Japanese in roughly 1300 novels.
  • Underlying resource: the indigo kanji decomposition data.
• Automatic feature detection for all CJK ideographs in unicode 5.0 - java project
• Kanji stroke recorder, for creating animations of how to write kanji by hand (gyousho/sousho). - java project
• Assisted full sentence translation (planned, not yet started)

You don't need to be registered in order to view content on this dokuwiki, but you do need to register if you want to edit or create pages. I figured this made more sense than using a heavily locked down wiki system, and just a smidge safer in terms of not having to police the content every day than allowing world+dog to edit whatever they want.
